With the passage of the Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010, the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) has been eliminated, effective July 1, 2010. Accordingly, the Georgia Student Finance Authority (GSFA) is no longer a participating lender for Federal Student Loans. All new loans made on or after July 1, 2010 must be through the Federal Direct Loan Program. Please visit the Federal Student Aid website for more information at www.studentaid.ed.gov.
