Tracy is Director of the Postsecondary Student and School Services Division. His area is responsible for Compliance, FFEL Program Originations, Default Prevention, Postsecondary School Outreach/Student Services, Guaranty Agency Claims and a variety of special projects.

Mr. Ireland began his career in financial aid in 1994 and has a broad range of experience in the industry. He has been with GSFC since 2001 and in that time has held a variety of positions including Originations Manager and Vice President of Financial Aid Operations.

Prior to joining GSFC, Tracy worked for College Foundation Inc (CFI)., a private, non-profit student loan provider in Raleigh N.C., where he held a variety of positions including Director of North Carolina’s National College Savings Program, Call Center Manager, and Electronic Services Coordinator. Prior to joining CFI, he lived in Jacksonville, Florida where he worked for Intuition Inc., where he began his career in financial aid as a customer service representative.

Tracy holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and lives in Cumming, GA with his wife Judy and their two sons.
