Every year many students are discouraged from continuing their education because picking a college and paying for it seems impossible. On Monday, January 30, the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) is hosting the fourth annual College, Yes You Can Day at the Capitol to promote and increase access to education beyond high school for Georgians. The main goal of College, Yes You Can Day is to have students walk away from the event with great advice and direction on every aspect of pursuing higher education. During the event, students will get expert help to apply for college admissions and financial aid. We expect Middle School students for the first time this year, as well as, a total of 30 High Schools will be participating. In addition, we will have sessions that include speakers from Colleges and Universities across the state as well as members of the military. When: A college fair and information sessions will be held in the Freight Depot building from 10:30am - 1:00pm. Where: For questions or more information, please contact
