Entrance / Exit Counseling are required to obtain a Stafford Loan in order to inform a borrower of their rights and responsibilities prior to borrowing a loan. Entrance and Exit loan counseling can be done electronically or in a session provided by your institution which may require you to complete a paper entrance loan counseling form after the session. Exit loan counseling must be done shortly before graduation or ceasing at least half-time enrollment.
